This camera case, which fits my Nikon Coolpix, does what is expected of it. It is a semi-hard case so if dropped absorbs impact without harming the camera. It can easily slip into a pocket because it is compact, not adding a lot of bulk as many soft-sided cases do.
The features that others criticized in reviews, I found to be smart additions. It unzips one way so the camera does not slide out and fall. It has a banded restraint inside so the camera fits snug. It also has an inside pocket to store SD cards. It does not have a neck strap , and I would not expect a case of this size and value to have one. The case is meant for storage not to hang around one's neck.
Case Logic continues to impress me and make cases that cost very little, but look sharp and do the job well. I expect to be buying more of their cases for my IPAD and other cameras in the near future.
